Raven was smiling from ear to ear as she saw her best friend dancing with her new boyfriend. Raven was still at the bar sucking on olives. She was the sober driver. And ready to get out of the night club. The music was blaring all around her. And not to mention the chatter from other people. She just leaned against the bar as the bar tender gave another coke and some olives. She loved olives. But she was really now looking at the time on her watch. It was past mid night. She had to get home. No she had no parents worrying about her. She was living alone in her lonely two bedroom apartment. But she had her room mate which was in fact her best friend.
Raven finally decided to make it clear to her friend that she had to get back home. For she had to get up and go to work tomorrow. So she made it safely through the heavy crown of the night club. And found her friend and told her it was time to get back home. So her friend gave her new boy friend a kiss good bye as he gave her, his phone number. They walked out of the night club laughing and talking about the guys at the club. Raven got in her driving seat of her Honda which was light blue. Raven's favorite color. Her father gave her this Honda for her birthday one year.
Raven was still laughing at her fiends jokes as she started the car up. She began to pull out in the to the road. And finally they were out in the main high way. Raven was so proud of herself. She hadn't had a drink all night. But her room mate turned the music up and lit a cigarette. " Seriously Put out the smoke!" Raven shouted at her friend who refused to put out the cigarette. And kept smoking it. She told Raven to lighten up a bit. Enjoy life at full throttle! But not even noticing the red light in front of her, Raven was too busy to notice it turn red and she flew right through the traffic. "Raven!" Her room mate shouted as she finally saw Tye cars coming at her! "STOP!" " I can't! Lizzie!"
The car skidded across to the ditch! And just all of a sodded Raven felt the car tip. " No!" She yelled! As the car flipped about three time before landing in the ditch on it's roof! Yes the car was upside down. Raven groaned only slightly. And began to call a number on her cell phone. She had to cry as she tried to get the phone out. She looked over at her friend. Blood was every where on her side. Raven made a very sad expression. She hadn't realized a few more cars had wrecked also. Blame the wet streets and not paying attention to where they were going.
Raven then realized she heard an ambulance approach. Tears fell down her face. She blacked out as she heard the screaming and crying form other people.
Later, about three hours later, Raven laid in her hospital bed. She opened her eyes. And was wondering who was there or where she even was. She had no clue. But she knew she had a massive migraine. She only hoped Buffy saw her 911 and would be here.

Buffy was walking through one of the many graveyards in the US at the moment of the accident. She was on her nightly patrol hoping to get a few vamps before she returned back to her hotel. Of course she didn't live in the US anymore as now she lived in Italy. She was simply here visiting some people; old friends, family. As she walked she twirled one of her three stakes in between her fingers, keeping her guard up as she wandered around. While she was walking around one of the crypts she heard a shrill scream from across the graveyard; someone was screaming for help. Probably some innocent person walking through the streets and running into a hungry vampire. It might be a demon, but it was more likely to be a vamp. Buffy stood listening intently trying to figure out which was she was supposed to go, which way to run to help the poor person. As another scream erupted Buffy knew that she needed to run left out of the graveyard.
She turned and began running, happy to have slayer speed. As she ran she leapt over a few headstones and curved around one of the larger crypts. Once at the gate she noticed that it had been locked behind her; probably the groundskeeper. She knew she needed to get over that gate to save the person, so she did the only thing she could do. Taking in a deep breath she jumped into the air, hurtling over the gate and front flipping to the other side. As she landed she picked up running right away again. The scream became louder as she ran and she could finally see the victim; a small, blonde, teen cornered by three hungry looking vampires. It was so cowardly, three vampires attacking one lonely, helpless teenage girl. It made Buffy mad a lot of the times, though she knew that they didn't know any better.
While the three were facing the girl Buffy came up behind them, staking one in the back and smiling as he turned to dust. Seeing their partner explode before their eyes the other two turned around to face Buffy; a dazzled look in their eyes. The girl now turned away from the vampires took this opportunity to run, leaving Buffy and the bloodsuckers alone. They rushed her, one coming at her from both sides. Buffy sidestepped allowing them both to knock into one another. Using this to her advantage Buffy kicked the one closest to her in the chest twice and then added one more round house kick to his face to knock him back and down a few feet. As the other one came at her she retaliated to his attempt with a right cross and then two punches to the center of his face. Both vampires now on the ground she quickly moved foward; staking them both and watching them turn to dust. Happy with her slaying, she turned and began walking back in the direction of the hotel.
Just as she began walking she noticed that her cellphone had gone off and she'd missed a call. Someone must've called when she was slaying and she hadn't noticed. Opening her cellphone she punched in her password and listened to the new voicemail that someone had left. It was the memorial hospital, apparently one of Buffy's old friends Raven had been injured in an accident. The message didn't say what kind of accident, but it said that she would need to stay in the hospital for awhile. As she deleted the message a worried look appeared on her face. Wanting badly to see her old friend Buffy turned to the direction of the hospital and began running; she had no time to waste. Her slayer speed coming in handy she was there in minutes, and rushed through the hospital doors. She asked a nurse to take her to her friend and she nodded and hurried down the hall. As she opened the door Buffy walked in to see Raven in the hospital bed; injured. Buffy waved and sat down in the chair beside the bed.
"Hey, are you alright?" She asked softly, her worriedness showing in her tone.

Raven saw Buffy and smiled weakly. She could remember calling Buffy before she passed outin her car. Then it flashed, she saw the blood on her friends passenger side. And just shuddered at the thought. But it was her best friend who was right beside her in the car. The doctor came in. "And how is our patient doing?" The doctor asked looking at a clip board. " Please doctor? My friend. She was in that car beside me." Raven really had to know if Lizze was alright. "I think it's best if you rest." The doctor said. He exaimed her head injury. Which wasn't very bad. But Raven keptt he subject of her friend alive. " My friend doctor! Lizze..." Raven glaned at Buffy. She knew Buffy would come and just gave her a small smile. "I'm so sorry Raven. Your friend did not make it. The impact killed her instantly." The doctor said as he walked out of the room.
Tears at once began to fill Raven's eyes. " Buffy, thank you for coming. You are a tre friend. I have something to tell you about Lizze. She had a secret. She was a vampire. Please don't judge her for that. She my best friend. Besides you. You are 2nd in my life. But Lizze was trying to avoid the slayers. I told her it would be very impossibe for her to. Seeing as I am friends with one. But I told her. If she would just talk to you. You would see what kind person she was. I loved her. Buffy what am I going to do now?"

As the doctor spoke of Raven's friends death Buffy could see tears forming in her friends eyes. She felt terrible for Raven, to lose her friend to an accident such as this one. Then Raven told her about Lizzie being a vampire, which was extremely shocking to Buffy. In reality if her friend had killed humans Buffy would've slayed her, friend of Ravens or not; it was her job. Buffy hoped that a killer wasn't what Lizzie had been, but she knew it was almost inevitable. All vampires were, well those without souls. Since their were only two vampires in the world with souls she didn't think it was likely that Lizzie had one. So yes, Buffy felt bad for Raven for losing a friend, but she knew that she would've slayed Lizzie if she had known earlier about her being a vampire.
"I'm sorry about your friend, I really am. But your going to be alright. I know it hurts now, but eventually it'll get better." Buffy said to her friend hoping that she wasn't making anything worse.

Raven heard what Buffy told her. But Raven knre Buffy to well. She knew if Buffy knew about Lizze while she was alive, Buffy would've slayed her anyway.
But Lizzie was not the maniac out for blood all the time type. She was a loving person in Raven's eyes. And Raven decided to help Lizzie keep her secret. But still the pain hurt her. Raven had survived while Lizzie was killed on impact.
" I don't see how it will Buffy. But I am so glad you are here. What am I going to do now? I mean there is nothing for in the States anymore. I heard you are now living in Italy. I've been there once. It is a really beautiful country. But , I'm still upset. I'm sorry Buffy. Will I ever get over this? My best friend is dead."Raven looked right at Buffy in hoping for a solution for her life. Where was going to end up now? She could go back home. But all she would get there is more screaming and yelling from her father.

Buffy thought silently of what she could possibly to do aid her friend in need. It seemed like everything she thought of saying would only make things worse, make it harder for Raven. The thought of death to anyone pained Buffy. Yes, she'd been told by the first slayer that Buffy's death was gift and she had fufilled that gift, when she died to save Dawn along with the rest of the world. But now it seemed as if death was a maze to her, never really knowing what to say or do.
"It will, just give it time. If you'd like, you can come back to Italy with me. You can stay in Dawn and I's apartment until you find your own."[/b] She said, hoping that what she'd said didn't just make Raven feel worse.

Raven smiled but not very big. The idea of being able to live in Rme was the best idea she had heard all day. So Raven deep inside told her self good bye to the states for a while. Seeing as every where she would go here would remind her of Lizzie. Raven even remembered the time she and Lizzie had way too much to drink and Raven did what ever it took to take Lizzie home. And just let her sleep it off. But when she got her home Lizzie began to kiss Raven's neck. Raven groaned as it felt so good. But she knew she had to make Lizzie stop. Because Lizzie had that look in her eyes that was wanting to bite some one. Lizzie almost had her in a trance as she leaned Ravenzagainst the wall kissing her....But Raven woke up before it got out of hand. And grabbed a vase on the hallway table beside her and just knocked Lizzie out for a while.
But after that Raven blinked. And she was back in the present. And she just looked at Buffy. " I'd love to do that." Raven looked away. She hadn't told Buffy about that innocendent she had with Lizzie. Because she knew Buffy's reaction if she did tell. And she wanted to keep it to herself for now.

"Great. For now though you should just rest, i'll be outside." Buffy said to her friend softly.
With that she stood up and kissed her friend softly on the forehead. She hoped that Raven would eventually recover and be happy again, though she knew if it were to happen at all it would take time. Buffy had lost a lot of people who were close to her in time. Her friends, even her mother. One thing she knew was that it did eventually get better, but it took time. Honestly Buffy thought that it would be better for Raven to get out of the states. To get away from things that reminded her of the accident that had taken place, of her best friend that had been killed. Vampire or not, Lizzie had been a dear friend of hers. So for now Buffy looked at her friend once more before retreating outside. She called Dawn and the rest of the gang and told them she would be back tomorrow morning, that she was staying with Raven. She then went back to the hallway and took a seat outside Raven's room on a small comfy chair. As she waited she soon fell asleep, tired from everything that had happened today.

Cordelia had been watching the news on the TV in her apartment and when she heard that there had been an accident, she wasn't sure whether is was supernatural or just natural, so decided to see if she could lend a helping hand. She asked the nurse at the desk where the victims' rooms were, and was almost about to walk into the room when she saw Buffy asleep on the seat outside. She smiled brightly, glad to see her again. She hadn't seen Buffy in years, and couldn't hide her excitement, even after all she'd been through. She didn't want to wake her, so just took the seat next to her and waited. She was good at waiting.

Raven smiled as Buffy kissed her on top of the fore head. She knew Buffy was tired. Raven was a wreck literally. She needed sleep aslo. A change of scenery would do her good. But for now she needed to sleep. And just let things take their course. At least she had a friend with her now. Raven hadn't exspected Buffy to answer. But she did. That was a great and true friend to have. Raven knew Buffy must've cringed a bit while Raven told her about Lizzie. But Lizzie was indeed the only friend that was with Raven 24/7. So for now Raven just rolled on her side in her hospital bed and eased her heard on the pillow and just pretty soon was asleep......
