Dark hair fluttered in the slight breeze as the girl stood on the bridge, looking down into the canal below. She’d always wanted to go to Italy, especially when she was younger. She sighed, thoughts turning sour. She and Jess were going to come here the summer before their 5th year. She didn’t want to think about that anymore. With a click of her heals she continued walking, glancing at the map she’d snatched at the tourist agency in the airport. she didnt have to walk, but she'd wanted to, yet now here it was, almost midnight, and still not at her hotel. Chronos had handed her the ticket and said, go to Italy. He’d handed her an address and said he’d meet her there. It was a hotel, and included a room number. If she could actually find the hotel. She shook her head. He hadn’t bothered to tell the violet eyed girl how he intended to get there, just that he would be there before her. She sighed and shrugged. Oh well. Rome was definitely a beautiful place, and she was certainly glad to be there. she smiled, glancing at the map and noticing she was only a block from the hotel. Thank the stars.

"Your late." hissed a purple mist that arose from the steamline by the sewage vent. He growled, or seemed to, then morphed into a beautiful man with shoulder length golden hair, creamy pale skin and brilliant, cat like, purple eyes. He crossed his arms, crickling the unusual business suit he wore. A scowl played on his angular face. "Is it so hard to find one bloody place? The streets are like a grid, and look! You even have a map! And yet here I am, having to come out and get you myself." he snapped. His own expensive shoes began to click as he paced past her and then back again.

Natasha rolled her eyes, almost a dark amethyst in this lighting, and smiled. Typical Felix. “Hello to you too, Chronos.” She said smoothly, turning to face him. She tucked her map into her bag, turning as he paced past her than back again. “I wasn’t lost, I was enjoying the sites. It was a nice evening so I walked here from the airport. It wasn’t too far.” A four hour walk wasn’t too far for her, and in such enjoyable locations, time was easily lost track of. “You didn’t have to come get me; I would have showed up eventually.” She left off the ‘or I’d be dead’ part. They both understood that one well. She leaned up against the wall, watching him pace with an amused expression on her face. He wouldn’t do anything, at least not out where people could see. Besides, if he complained, she’d just remind him that he gave her free will, so what good was it if she couldn’t use it?

He sneered, his smooth lips curling. "Not far for you perhaps but time is of the essance woman! How's that for a bloody concept!" He snarled nastily, his pacing pausing only to give her a ruthless glare. True, he wouldn't do anything. If he did, it was in an emergancy, such as a battle. But there was no battle here, so he kept a level head (to a degree) and kept on pacing.
Recently, while he was out hunting, he received a message that he was to help an Old one (this made him shiver) out with a few things... holding back a Slayer and her friends if that ever came up. He didn't know the full details, be he knew not to deny the higher ups and he took the order. He was prepared to inform his familiar, the girl Natasha, but they were in public. He stopped his pacing with a growl.
"Lets get to the Hotel, there's something I must tell you."

Natasha nodded, a little shiver running down her spine when he turned a stern glare her way. She hated it when he did that. She shrugged, if time had been so important, he would have come after her long ago. She wasn’t that hard to find, especially being that he could find her anywhere, because of the nature of their relationship. He was still pacing, but at least he didn’t look like he was about to drag her by her hair up to the hotel room and beat her to within an inch of her life.
However he did want to go to the room, not that she had a problem with this. He wanted to tell her something. In her mind, there were three options. More to do with that necklace; more to do with Septarus, or something else. She shrugged, hoping the second one. Honestly, how hard was it to find and kill one demon? That was their agreement, after all. She should have never let him have his half of the agreement first.

While not appreciating his human looking form, he stayed in it all the while as he and his Familiar walked to the Hotel. Once there, they were quickly greeted, but Felix dismissed them with a sharp glare. He approached the desk, received the second key and headed for the room.
He got up there by getting into the elevator, then the second the door closed he transformed into mist and shoved himself up the vent, crawling his way up to his floor. He exited swiftly into his room through the vent system. Once there, he got back into his human form and laid down across the bed, elbow holding him up as he waited on Natasha. His eye caught hold of a newspaper and he picked it up, flickering through it.

Natasha followed her master demon closely, rolling her eyes when he didn’t give her the second key. She knew he already had the first one. She followed him into the elevator, running a hand through her long, dark locks. He hated his human form, and she hated his hair. No man, demon or otherwise should be allowed to have that nice of hair. Yes, Natasha would admit it. She was jealous. She leaned against the wall of the elevator, watching the purple mist seemingly dance around her head a bit before vanishing. And he’d taken the key card with him.
She stepped out onto the third floor, and glanced at the doors, shaking her head. He never told her where he had the money to afford all these nice things, and she was aftaid to ask. finding room 612, she knocked on the door. “Felix let me in…you never gave me my Key Card.” She said. Standing from one foot to the other impatiently.

There was evil cackling at the other side of the door before it opened. However, Felix took his sweet time to answer the door as he decided to get comfortable. While he snickered, he loosened his tie and took off his pin-stripped jacket. Next came his shoes which he placed by the door. After putting up the jacket across the back of a chair, he finally opened the door. A sadistic grin played across his face, sharp teeth showing fully with black gums. He snickered some more before returning to his bed and laying back on it.

Natasha heard his laughter and sighed, leaning against the doorframe. He was going to teach her a lesson. She’d taken her time getting here, so he was going to take his time opening the door. She shook her head, hearing him moving around in the room. He came near the door, and set something down, before walking away from it. From the sounds of his feet, he’d left his shoes. When the door was finally opened for her, she rolled her eyes at his grin. “Yes Felix I get the point. You had fun making me wait.” She said, stepping past him into the room. She dropped her bag next to the bed that wasn’t messed up and wrinkled, and sighed. Good riddance. Hopefully they’d be staying in the area for a while. It would be nice to finally get to rest a bit, instead of being on a plane every week. “So what’s the big news?” she asked him, falling across her bed and kicking off her shoes so that they hit the wall with a resounding thud.

He rolled over onto his stomach and his predatory eyes watched the shoes flick off and rebound on the wall. He raised a brow. "Any dents or damages go to your tab." he growled then crossed his arms in front of him and put his chin on his folded arms. "Right, the news. Another order has come in. We are to assist the Old one in his mission, manly play his as his lackies. Evidently, there is a Slayer in the area, and rumor has it that there's more than one. Of course, witches are abound and that is where you come in. I'm very weak to magic. When we confront them, whoever they are, or they confront us, you must be by my side within the instant." His eyes glistened. "Otherwise, if I make it out alive, it'll be in your blood that I was harmed. Understood!"

Natasha glanced at the wall. “Psh…soft shoes…meant for long walks. Wont hurt a wall.” She said, stretching. A smile danced across Natasha’s face for a moment. finally, they were going after people who could fight back. Though Chronos didn’t sound too thrilled about it. She’d no idea what an old one was, probably just some really old demon. Well at least he was on their side.
“Anything else on Septarus?” she asked, the name coming out like acid. She hated the demon, seen what he’d done to her friend, what he’d wanted to do to her. She was upset that she hadn’t gotten her revenge yet. She focused back on what he was saying. Witches eh? She could handle witches. She knew magic that didn’t invoke blood, after all, that was where she’d started. Blood required time to draw things out, and that was its main weakness.
“yes, yes, you loose a hair, I’ll be in pain for a week, I understand.” She said, reaching into her bag for her book. She wanted to prepare a few spells on paper, for later use, before settling in for bed.

He gave an annoyed sigh. "No, I've heard nothing of that big oaf. But I have more places to look about... Rome is a large city after all." With easy, he got up, stretched his arms and groaned. It was more of a pained groan; he REALLY didn't like the confinements of the human body. Ah well, at least he was genderless and didn't have to worry about the human needs. Well, except for one..
In such a fancy hotel, a mini espresso maker was typically placed on the counter. He found it immediately and quickly made some. Mmmm.. Coffee... one of the few joys of humanity.

Natasha pulled out the hand pressed rolls of parchment paper, the only kind that would hold a spell for any length of time. She smiled when the Demon headed for the espresso machine, resisting the urge to get some herself. If Felix wanted to go out later, she’d get some. If he didn’t, she wasn’t about to sit up all night because of some coffee. Her penkife soon was out as well, and she’d opened the book, beginning to copy out several spells, dangerous ones. He said they’d be fighting witches so she’d need a few good spells ready. This was her strong point. She could light a candle, and barricade a door from anything inhuman with her other magic, but not much else. “Felix? Can I have some of your blood? Demon blood makes the spells slightly stronger, and last longer if I store them.” she asked him, looking up.

An evil grin came to his face as he sip his wonderful liquid. He felt like being difficult and turned, back to the counter as he leaned against it, one hand on the counter the other to his lips, fingers curled around the cup. "Come get some." he purred, snickering. Again, he felt like being difficult. He'd probably give some later but in exchange for her deciding to walk he'd force her to attempt a cut on him or two. This was just too amusing. His eyes flickered to the digital clock and narrowed. He took another sip of his coffee, thinking. He'd probably go out later tonight for another check in the area.

Natasha rolled her eyes and slid off the bed, sucking on her finger so as not to get any blood on the richly colored violet carpeting. Trust felix to find the one hotel in Italy with purple carpet. She stood in front of him and held out her knife, offering it to him and holding a paper expresso cup. To hold the blood. “you want to cut your hand, or should I?” she asked him.
