Raven had finally gotten her life together. She knew Buffy and her gang were living here so she decided to move here where she would have friends. At first she rented an apartment in the center of Rome. She was ready to make her new life what ever she wanted. Sparingly when her mother died, her mother left her a great deal of cash. So Raven Decided to take that cash and use it for her new life. She would even have enough to buy a Verla nice used car. Just to let her get around. She knew she had alot to do with her apartment. She was spending the day working on it. She would always have a CD playing in the Cd Player. Right now it was Linkin Park's new CD: Minutes To Midnight. That was playing.
Raven smiled as she saw the busy streets below as she walked past her double French doors. Which led out to a small balcony on her second floor. She loved to have the life she finally wanted.
She had a pretty coral pinkish color already to pain her first room. She loved these Establishments. They allowed you to paint. Which really caught her eye. She loved to be able to make her home to what ever she wanted.
Finally it was about lunch time. So she decided to take a break and head down to the little restaurant that was near her apartment. She decided to check it out. And get some lunch. And also put in her application for a job there. She talked with the manager and he was able to get her an application. Raven walked in the restaurant. It was very nice. She looked up and saw paintings on the ceilings. She heard the culture music playing. It was a busy little place.

Rukia walked down the streets on Rome, she was starting to feel the thirst again, but right now was in no mood for it, she was thinking of fighting the thirst again, she felt like drinking wine and acting like a human here, she saw some humans walk by her seeing her neck less with a cross on it they thought she was a vampire hunter. They would come up to her saying, Hey vampire hunter. Rukia would just roll her eyes, "I have business." She acted like she was a vampire hunter and walked away, she saw a restaurant and walked towards it.
Rukia opened the doors and walked in, what a lovley place....... Rukia said at first then dropped the thought, maybe I'll feed on a human later but for now drink wine. Rukia walked to the counter getting ready to order a drink. "Wine." She said acting human as she sat down on the sit, she could drink wine for a long time, it sometimes ketped her mind off of blood, Rukia took the drink after the waiter gave it to her, she drank it up fast then ordered more, "Two more." She said to him seeing him walk away. She then saw a girl looking around, she said nothing to her and turned away when she saw her look back. When done she got up to leave.

Raven smiled at the bar tender as he handed her a glass of wine. She was liking this city already. The people were beautiful, no one knew her. And she liked it that way. Well, she knew her best friend Buffy and her gang were living in Rome. But she was no where near Buffy at the moment. She loved the atmosphere of this place. It was very positive. Being a citizen of Rome now Raven was liking this place allot more. She loved being on her own. She could make it here. The owner just said, "You're hired." Raven gave a bigger smile and cheered him in a drink he offered. It was very convient being on the same street as her house or two floor apartment was. So she could walk to work everyday. But she noticed a girl at the bar as she left. Raven being very bright and cheery hadn't realized she had bumped into the girl on her way out. " I'll be at 7 am Sammy!" Raven looked back then realized who she had bumped into. And walked over." I'm so sorry. My apologizes. Are you OK?"

"I am fine." Rukia said back to her, work huh? Makes it easy to find you in a need blood, Rukia thought to herself quietly. Maybe i can play a game with this human, Rukia thought to herself, her neck less was showing the cross, any minute now she'll think she was a vampire hunter and Rukia would just agree with her. " You got a job here I see." Rukia said smiling at her acting like she wanted to be friends.
This happened to everyone not just humans, Rukia was always by herself, not caring about helping the vampires unless they all were in dranger which was rare, but Rukia knew some demons and slayers were trying to kill them. Rukia wasn't the first vampire her mother and father were the first, they were very old when she was born, reason why her mother died, and her father dieing not long after her.
Rukia understood why her parents loved the quietness, it was peaceful there but coming to these citys with this demons and slayers made Rukia made, this girl who Rukia now stood in front of, she seemed to be happy, but of course hates vampires too, Rukia didn't blame her thought, they did after all kill them to live. Rukia waited for the girl to answer.

" Um yeah. I just moved to Rome. I was lucky to get a place so close to home. I can walk here every day. It's so nice here. I was right to move here. You know you have those feelings. And you just seem to know. " Raven said that as she sat down beside her at the bar. She saw how friendly this girl was being. And Raven loved to be with friendly people. " So what is your name? Min's Raven. Or Rae for short. All my friends in school called me Rae though." Raven was extremely in a very happy mood. She loved to talk to. But she would sometimes make people annoying if she talked to much. So she orded a glass of wine and offered her friend one. " Would you like some wine?"

Rukia was thinking of other things, "Yeah." She said finally looking at her again, maybe not...... I am not going to feed on her maybe i'll just stop feeding....... Rukia had that new though on her mind, She took the wine when it was brought to her. She drank it out, oh forget it. Rukia was trying to save her fellow vampires anyway, teach them to clean up their mess. Rukia would be pissed if the old demon killed them off.

Raven smiled at the night dragged on. She was telling Rukia the reason she moved here. And the accident of the car wreck she was in while in the United States. And finally about her abusive parents. But surpringly after her mother died, Raven's mom left her a great deal of money. And she was able to save up enough to move here and begin her new life. Raven sipped some more wine. And was now telling rukia that she had a very special friend. That was killed in that car wreck. Lizzie was indeed a vampire. But Raven did not seem to care about what race she was. Lizzie was the best friend of all friends Raven had ever had.
" Are you okay?"

Rukia realized she had been lost in her thoughs but heard Raven ask her a question. "Ummm, yeah. " Rukia said back to her, she then dared the next question, that some humans new but not all, "What would you think, if you new a vampire was near?" Rukia drank the wine, not acting her vampire self, she only cared to hear this girl's words, she knew they were slayers out there, she wasn't going to die to them, but being a vampire was the last life she had.

Raven noticed the time and it was getting pretty late. She wondered to herself if this girl had a place to stay fro the night. And Raven herself needed to get back home. She was glad she didn't have to drive. Because she a little woozy. But not over the top.
" I was wondering, you have a place to stay? Because it's getting late. And I'm ready to get back to the house. You feel like joining me?" Raven had no idea Rukia was a vampire. she was not skilled enough to know if they were a vampire or a human. Or a demon for that matter. She was just being very nice to this girl. Because it was Raven's nature to be nice to a stranger.

"I would, but its not a good idea." Rukia said back to her and added, "It might of been hard for you friend who was a vampire to be around you the whole time, its hard for vampires if they around someone they like as a friend, because there is a need for thrist, I am a vampire too." Rukia got up from her chair, "Vampires can't fight it, its to strong for them." Rukia drank the wine up, then took out money to pay Raven for getting her the drink.

Raven liked Rukia. She was getting to know a good friend. But she knew she had to leave and get back to work on her town haouse now. Raven just gave Rukia a wink and she decided to leave it at that for now. Seeing as Rukia would probably never see her again. So she paid for Rukia tab. And Applogized once more for bumping into her. Raven decided to leave the bar and get back home. She walked into the empty town house. That still needed a lit of work done to it. But she had her bedroom all set up. And she walked into her bedroom. She would finish painting another time. Maybe she would catch up to Buffy tomorrow or later on in the week. For now she changed into her pajamas and turned off the light for the night sleep ahead of her.
