She said back at him, She moved back when he had moved towards her, she wasn't watching the time righth now, she moved into the darkness again, she saw another... a slayer....... Rukia just watched them.

Buffy had been watching the two demons argue for quite awhile. The vampire seemed quite foolish to Buffy; like she was trying to be all tough when in reality she is nothing but a dumb vampire. Normally she would have simply slayed the vampire and left, but this proved more interesting. The other demon seemed pretty inteligent, wise if one should say. He seemed to know more about demons then the foolish vampire, and probably Buffy herself. Yes she killed them, but she hadn't read to much up on them; that was Giles's thing. Nonetheless, she had decided she might as well let herself be known to the demons. It seemed unfair to watch from a distance when they didn't even know she was near. Usually she didn't care how unfair anything was that deals with demons, but in this case it seemed vital. Besides, if they attempted to fight her they would die; it was simple.
Or is it?
Everything seemed so simple at times. Buffy was a slayer, she killed demons, it was her job, her calling. Yet there has been so many things that have complicated her 'job'. Angel, Spike, both vampires who have been known throughout the demon world for they're merciless killiing, and yet Buffy had let them live. In fact, not only do they still continue to walk the earth, but she loved them; both of them. So yes, at times it was simple, and at other times it seemed like there was simply more to the situation. From what Buffy had heard and observed it seemed like there was more to this situation then just two demons arguing. Not only that but she could sense the demons power. The vampire seemed feeble; weak. But the other one felt much stronger. He definitely seemed like someone that Buffy would certainly want on her side. He could probably be defeated, but she didn't think it would be fun trying. For now she would simply play it play by play, waiting to see what would happen.
"Hey why'd you disappear? Come back out and join the fun." Buffy said to the vampire that had gone into the shadows. As she said this she reached in and grabbed the vamp by the shoulders, yanking her back into the alleyway with Buffy and the other demon. Now the three were standing in what looked like a messed up triangle.
"So considering the fact that your a demon, i'm guessing your not a fan?" Buffy then said to the demon who'd spoke of her as a slayer. She was now standing within several feet of a vampire and an extremely powerful demon.
Oh, what a fun night this was turning to be.

Madax watched the Slayer move. Her aura was powerful, and he heart was beating with the essence of a pure demon. If anyone could even come close to matching Madax’s power, it would be her. She was small for a human, but then again he could tell that she was indeed powerful. Madax turned to look at the vampire again, who was ready to cower in the shadows. “Tis a shame half breed,” he said, “when an Old One such as myself appears before you, it takes you the hard way to learn that you wouldn’t last five microseconds, but when the Slayer shows up, then you’re ready to cower.”
Madax was ready to kill the vampire then and there until something began to feel not quite right…as if something was just then put out of order. Looking high into the night, he could hear them. A horde of demons clawing past the rooftops of the city and coming closer to them. Each of them were ready to attack and try to either capture, or kill them. The key word in this was try. Madax looked at the vampire, then at the Slayer.
“Tell me Slayer,” he said, “how good is your combat skills? Ever faced any highly difficult enemies before?”

Rukia didn't say a word, she knew the sun could burn her badly, "I don't like light." She said to them both pulling away again, she was watching Madax and the slayer, the human that goes out of her way to kill us, she doesn't know who she is dealing with, i don't have to look strong to be it, would deal with the demon later, she hated slayers more much more then anything else. Rukia looked at the demon and slayer, this truely is a war, that needs to get fixed between us, Rukia though as she looked at Madax, Rukia saw the sun was slowly starting to come up, she had to get back in the shadows, she still didn't move for a minute of just thinking before she moved away from them both again aiming to get in the darkness.

She listened intently as he spoke of the vampire as a half breed, which indeed she was. Obviously he must've been something else, a pure demon perhaps? He had called himself an old on, this must indeed mean that he was old. But how old? Older then the first? Was he aligned with the first? So many questions running through her mind, flooding it almost. But something else confused her even more; he hadn't attacked her. Not only that, but his expressions and just plain presence didn't feel violent towards Buffy at all. In fact, he seemed more focused on killing the vampire then he did attacking her. Hopefully this meant that he wasn't out to 'take over the world' and kill the slayer as most demons were. With his power he could either be an incredible ally or an unstoppable enemy. She hoped it wasn't the latter, but then again she couldn't be sure. Hearing this question about her skills directed at her simply made her laugh lightly as she looked at him.
"I think one round with just me and you might answer that question." She said dominantly.
She didn't think that it was wise to fight someone that she knew so little about. Vampires and other demons were weak, were easy slays. But this demon was to powerful to go into a battle knowing so little. Hell, not knowing anything for that matter. Besides, she wasn't actually challenging him she simply didn't trust him. But why would she? He was a demon, a strong demon, and he had shown her nothing to prove that he was worthy of such trust. Not that many people had Buffy's trust, as it was extremely hard to get. Nonetheless she kept eye contact with the demon, not willing to look away. Looking away would show weakness, and she was certainly not weak. But something else was bothering her; more demons were approaching. They were probably followers of this demon coming to help him; to kill her. She didn't think it would be a fun battle, fighting so many at once. Especially with this 'old one' in the mist. But, she had no choice; she was the slayer.
"Move and your going to be dust blowing in the wind, got it?" She said to the vampire beside them, noticing the look on her face.

Madax could tell that the Slayer had some trust issues. Though he could assure her that he meant no harm, the odds of her trusting him was slim to none until he proved himself. What better time to do that than now? Above the Slayer’s head came the first wave of demons, and as they leaped into the sky like grasshoppers, Madax jumped in front of the Slayer, and with the wave of a hand, a strange gel-like mist flowed in front of them, causing the demons to stop in mid-air, or at least seem like it. Madax looked at the twenty demons that stood petrified in the air, and could read their bodily structure easily. They weren’t there for his protection, rather here for the Slayer…Madax turned to look at the Slayer.
“There isn’t much time to explain Slayer,” he said, “but if you survive the onslaught, and I’ll see to it that you do, I’ll explain everything. You have my word on it.”
Madax looked behind the Slayer, watching a demon come from above, ready to attack. Madax walked past the Slayer, his wings narrowly missing her. This was of the same species of demon that was in mid-air, a Hellhound demon. The creature made an attempt to slash at the Old One, but with one kick, the beast was knocked across the street and through several houses before hitting a street lamp a mile away from them. Madax held his hand out, a massive ball of flame forming in his right hand before taking shape and turning into a double bladed-like weapon. Madax looked at the Slayer, and nodded.
“Whether you believe me, or not Slayer,” he began, “I am on your side. I think it is best we vanquish these creatures swiftly if you want answers from me. I came here searching for you to see if you could help me.”
Madax looked in the air, watching a wave of at least fifty demons fall from the air. They were weak demons, so he knew that he, and the Slayer could handle this. He looked at her and nodded. He then turned back to the vampire and began to speak wearly to her. "If you wish to prove yourself to me," he said, "try to fight and stay close. Otherwise get out of here and leave the fighting to the professionals."

Rukia had seen the whole thing, she would stop him at the end but for now she would get the vampires out, all of them to warn them of this demon, the vampires were going to get her help now, she knew of his power and still had to find a way to stop him, she was thinking of his weakness, everyone had one though for him it would be very hard, she didn't say anything to him just replied, "I won't clean up the mess i make." She knew the slayer was also strong, but being vampire had its gifts too, but Rukia hadn't used all of her power yet, she hadn't wanted too, but now it was time to find the old ones and try and get them to share the healing blood, of life to where you live on forever.

Buffy watched as a wave of demons just seemed to fall from the sky. Almost fifty just seemed to appear, coming at the three of him. Whether or not she trusted this 'old one' just yet was not decided, but she knew she would have to fight by his side anyhow. As he turned and spoke to the vampire she noticed that the vampire looked quite defiant. Did she honestly think that she could kill Buffy? The thought almost sent her into a laughing fit. Had there not been fifty demons around trying to kill her, she probably would have started laughing quite hysterically.
Right before she dusted this chick that is.
She watched as the demon kicked the other demon with such ease; sending him flying. So he was powerful, hopefully he was indeed telling the truth about being on her side. If not, she thought it would be a hell of a fight between the two. As she ran past the vampire she spoke softly, warning her. "If your not going to fight then get out of here before I change my mind about you getting to live." She said, her tone warningful. Before the vampire could reply Buffy was already in the middle of the pack of demons.
She wasn't afraid of some amateur demons thinking they could kill her with their pathetic army. In fact, she ran right into the middle of the fight. Demons began swarming her, surrounding her. As she fought her strength, speed, stamina, dexterity, it all came into play as she killed them one by one. She had a few cuts and bruises but she knew they would heal. She ignored the pain and kept fighting, her skills now more effective then ever. She had almost killed half of their pack, the other half surrounding Madax. As she fought off the last of the few she hoped that Madax could handle it, though she was pretty sure he could.

Madax looked on at the horde of demons. The remaining twenty five just stood there, ready to fight and wanting him dead. These creatures were normally feral and vicious with their claws, and yet they wielded weapons and could think. Perhaps their intelligence was enhanced by a powerful spell, meaning that this just isn’t some demon army out for a slaughter, and rather organized by someone else… Madax looked ahead, ready to kill every last one of them without any mercy. Madax held his blade in both hands tightly, and finally began to charge. His wings expanded and as his feet began running, the wings flapped, giving him more momentum. The first fifteen went down easily; all of those demons were either skewered by the Old One’s blade, or decapitated. Five more demons found death slowly as all, but one was also skewered, but unlike the others, the Old One twisted his blade, making the pain more intense and even more painful. The fifth one had the other end of the blade go through the bottom of his head and out of the top of his skull, before a chunk of his skull and face was pulled from his head from the inside as Madax twisted the blade while skewering another demon at the same time. The final four demons found death in the most horrific of ways, each of them were set on fire at will by Madax’s fire powers, slowly they began to burn and they burned slowly, the screams no stopping for five minutes. A five minutes that were like five million eternities to them each. And then there was one. One demon left. Madax walked over to the creature, blocking every hit that it threw at him effortlessly before picking it up by the neck with ease and lifting him high above his head.
“This wasn’t a random attack by a small army of Hellhounds,” Madax spoke, “you were sent by someone…so tell me demon, who sent you. Tell me, and I’ll kill you quickly and also I’ll consider making it painless.”
The demon struggled in the Old One’s grasp like a stunted weakling, it’s eyes full of fear, but only to rouse the demon out of releasing him, a failed task all together. The Old One knew the pressure points that he would need to suffocate the creature, and he let enough pressure down to still let the creature breathe and more than enough to let him talk, but at the still time feel pain around the neck. The demon looked into the eyes of the Old One, watching it’s enemy’s life flash before its eyes. The demon suddenly felt something that it never felt before; fear. Fear of this creature above all, and worried of what power it held, or what it would do to it.
“I…I…” It said weakly, “I am apart of the glorious army of Mathias…we are dedicated to returning our master to this realm, and allow him to reclaim this planet for his own…kill me if you want Old One, but I’ll just be considered a hero to my fellow demons. Not even you can stop this onslaught Madax, not even you! You’re the first of the Old Ones, and yet you too remember Mathias and who he was supposed to be the vessel for! You cannot stop us…You’ll never…”
The demon was silenced with the snap of his neck. Madax angrily threw the demon across the street, but instead of crashing through a building, it stopped a few feet from it. Madax looked in curiosity as to why he did not throw him further and went over to the demon’s body. Kneeling down, he began searching through the tattered clothing of the animal, finally pulling out a black stone with a clear diamond color in the middle. Madax held it with such curiosity before realizing what it was. He held it in his hand, and made his way over to the Slayer, holding out the stone.
“Do you know what this is?” he asked. Before she could answer, he began talking again. “This is one of the many thousands of stones that was embedded to my sarcophagus when I was placed in it. Right now, it is useless, doesn’t affect me at all, but if someone were to will it, it would begin to drain me of my powers. Slowly, but surely, it would drain me of my powers, though not weaken me much in the long run. If you still do not trust me Slayer, I give this to you.” Before the Slayer could protest, if she even was, Madax placed the stone in her hand. “I realized this when the demon wasn’t sent flying through buildings like the other demons. My power will return eventually. These jewels can contain my power, but won’t be any good after a while if no one wills that it drains my power. Then the power will seep through the jewel and back into me. It takes a few days, but just a few…”
Madax remained silent for a two before beginning to talk again… “Slayer, it is just as I thought though. When I first saw the demons back in New York, they held the mark of one of my old enemies, which meant one thing. If you want my help, I would like you to take me to your place. Gather up your strongest people and I will tell you what I am and everything. I have some questions of my own that I feel must be answered, but they’ll wait after I am done explaining.”
Madax stood there, looking behind her as the sun began to rise and he shifted back to his human form. He stood silently, waiting for the Slayer to speak.

Rukia finallt knew what she needed to stop him, this slayer will die at the end, and this old one does have a weakness, she left quietly to get back into hidding, she wasn't going to leave but plan and get stronger, she would need almost everything to help her kill the slayer and demon, it was now time for them to fight, he has choosen the side he is on, the humans side, i won't clean up my mess, i'll make it worse before and once this is over those humans will fear me and these demons will die or stay out of our way. Rukia had planned that much as she went into darkness till sundown.
(I'll leave thread for now...)

Buffy watched in awe as the demon finished off the last of the demons. She would have helped since she'd already killed the other half but she could see that he wasn't in need of any help. As he finished up she had been walking around, looking at the demons bodies. They were all in the same exact clothing, as if an army. If they were indeed an army, who had sent them? And why were they attacking herself and the demon. So many questions seemed important at the time, but her thinking process was interupted by the demon killing the last hellhound and making his way towards her. She listened as he explained what they were, and who they were sent by. She nodded as he said they were an army of some other demon, as she had already figured it out. He then asked her to give him wherever they held their 'base' at, which for right now was their apartment. In the basement of the apartment was all their equipment. Training equipment, books, training area, meeting area, etc.
"Fine, even though i'm not to keen on letting demons into my house you seem trustworthy enough. Besides, with skills like that I welcome you with open arms. Really open arms after seeing that army. I'm Buffy, as you probably already knew. Do you have a name?" She then added, her voice soft though showing her tiredness.
"We can go to my apartment building. Everyone who works with me lives their and we have a sort of base in the basement floor. Your welcome to a room if you'd like, tomorrow morning we can assemble everyone downstairs to brainstorm and talk with you. Sound good?" She said softly.
Honestly she was dearly hoping that this wasn't another apocolypse. Though it was beginning to look that way, what with the demon army and everything. Plus, if someone was an enemy of this demon who hadn't been killed must be as strong, if not stronger then the demon standing in front of her. She sighed looking at all the bodies around them, she knew that they either had to be moved, or they would be found come daybreak. Although it wouldn't be to bad, as most people knew about the demons and such that roamed the european streets. They especially knew about Buffy, and that she was the reason most of them had lived so long in this city. For now she figured she would get back to the apartment, check on Dawn, and let everyone know that their would be a meeting come tomorrow morning.

Madax smiled calmly. He calmly stretched his hand out to shake her own and then nodded in respect. “I think you’ll be able to find my name in these books of yours at the apartment,” he said, “that is if they hold information on Old Ones. My name is Madax, Madax Vodrex. If those demons had a jewel on them, who knows how many more they have. Probably all of them. You see, an Old One that dies in this realm is placed in a sarcophagus and their powers are drained by these jewels. I remember when I awoke in the body of my shell, or the body of the human you see before you, my sarcophagus had over a thousand. An Old One who has more than one jewel is very powerful indeed. Their strengths well above the vampires of my time…I believe they were called Turok-Han…Yes, they were the first vampires…the last one to die off fed on a man named Heinrich, and he became the Master.” Luckily for Madax, he knew he should do research on these creatures of today, and the demons of this world were all mixed with some human DNA. The books that he found on his kind were rare, barely even describing them.
“I appreciate the offer for a room,” he said, “perhaps it would be best, so that I may meditate and recharge my powers that way.” As he finished speaking, he was in full human form again, once more wearing his leather jacket, tripp pants, and biker books with a pitch black shirt. He had gotten these clothes from some sort of human that said it was from some tribe called Gothic. Though not the human’s exact words, Madax merely figured that that’s what the human meant. Some of the knowledge that his human soul held took time to seep in to explain everything, but it all slowly came to him.
“So…” he said, “is demons the only creatures that you have fought?” he asked as they walked, “Or have you ever fought more powerful creatures?”

"Well, you stay with either Andrew and Xander, or Dawn and me; we both have extra rooms. Andrew and Xander aren't to bad, kinda chatty though. Dawn is my little sister, so not much fun there either. But, whatever you want to do is fine with me." She said softly as she explained the situation.
"Yeah, a few years back we fought Glory. Her real name was Glorificus, she was some god who'd been exiled from hell. The only problem was, she shared her body with a human. I knew that she would recover and kill me, maybe all of us, but I just couldn't kill a human... I fought her until she couldn't do anything but lie there, and I left to help my sister. Unfortunately by the time I got there the portal was already opened. So to sum it up, I died. But I came back around 6 months later, so I try not to think about it. But luckily, we haven't heard or seen anything of her." She said, her voice full of sorrow as she remembered the painful thoughts.
She had quite a lot more of stories she could tell to him, but just assumed he would easily get bored. Basically, she saved the world. A lot. There wasn't to much more to it and unless he asked she would refrain from getting into detail. As they walked she wiped a medium sized cut on her arm with her sleeve, attempting to stop the blood from flowing every where. She was unsuccessful and decided to simply just keep walking along with Madax until they reached the apartment building.

Madax stopped suddenly when Buffy brought up the name of Glorificus. Madax could tell Buffy stories about her, but all he could do for the moment was pause and just stand there. He had just then been convinced that the Slayer was a powerful force and that she was a worthy ally that could help him in the conflicts to come. Especially if she could take down Glorificus herself.
“Glorificus!?” he cried outloud, “Glorificus was one of my worshippers back in my day. Long ago, I was the God to several Gods, and the hell goddess, Glorificus, being one of them. If you managed to defeat her, then you are in my highest respects!”
Madax smiled at her and started to walk again. The sun soon began to rise like a red ball of light, and instantly the skies began to glow in a magnificent red. Madax looked above, remembering that this was the color that the skies were before this realm became unstable for him and his kind. He also began to remember the terror he struck in everyone. How he made the ten plagues look like ten small laughs. The skies around him showed him the beauties of the light over day.
“Heh…” Madax said, “I have always wanted to visit Italy…well…the shell’s soul that is apart of me has. It has always wanted to see this new land.”
Madax looked around, finally seeing the glories of Rome for the first time in the light. Hoping that they were close to the apartment now.
