Hannibal is tall with short, brown hair and maroon eyes. Even though he is 270 years old, he looks no older then 27. He usually wears a black trench coat over his bear, white chest and jeans with white Converse that he deorates himself. He has a beautiful face that is unnaturally white. He has abnormally large hands and on the left one he has 6 fingers. Hannibal is almost unhealthily skinny.

Since the beds in prison are so narrow, Hannibal always had to sleep with his hands criss-crossed on his chest, and he still does that. He likes classical music and good wine. Hannibal isn't the kind of man who denies himself what he wants, and what he wants just happens to be the best of everything.He has exelent people skills and can bend almost anyone easily to do what he wants; he is not easily forgotten and is highly individual.

Before Dr. Lecter was bitten he was a well known mass murderer, he was a cannibal. In the prison that he was kept in they made him wear a metal mask over his mouth and nose because he kept biting people, before he was a vampire.
